HARRINGTON – Irene Tracy died April 26, 2004, in Mariaville. She was born April 10, 1928, in Cherryfield, the daughter of Nathlee Tracy. She was an officer of Osceloa Grange No. 570 of Harrington, and West Washington Pomona Grange. She worked for 26 years at Wymans in Cherryfield. She was a faithful member of the Harrington Baptist Church. Irene was predeceased by her sister, Amy Jordan. She is survived by her sister, Nellie Jordan Austin of Mariaville, and her sons, Everett, Joe, Scott and Kevin Austin; five nieces and four nephews. She has four special cousins, Ernest Corliss, Everyln Tibbetts, Lillian Strout and Hazel Anderson; and special friends, Helen Feeney, Marion Parkman, Lib Scott, Alice Delong and Pastor Danny Davis and his wife, Pam. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Harrington Baptist Church, care of Gwen Grant, RR 1, Box 400, Harrington, ME 04643 “because they have done so much for me.” At her request, graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Intervale Cemetery on the Butler Road, Cherryfield, with Pastor Danny Davis of the Harrington Baptist Church, officiating.
