MADAWASKA – Alyssa A. Cyr, 19, died unexpectedly March 8, 2008, in Presque Isle. She was born Jan. 12, 1989, in Fort Kent, the beloved daughter of Bert and Rina (Boucher) Cyr. She was a 2007 graduate of Madawaska High School and was, at the time of her death, attending Northern Maine Community College, where she was enrolled in the medical office administration program. Having a magnetic and fun loving personality, Alyssa was much loved by her many friends. She is survived by her parents, Bert and Rina Cyr of Madawaska; two brothers, Curtis Cyr of Bangor and Jamie Cyr of Madawaska; one sister, Ciara Cyr of Bangor; her maternal grandmother, Rita Boucher of Frenchville; her paternal grandmother, Dolores Cyr of Madawaska; one special nephew, which she loved, adored and doted on, Jackson Dube of Frenchville; many aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 14, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday until time of services at Daigle Funeral Home.
