DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. and ORIENT – Angeline Deering, 81, wife of the late Walter Deering, passed away Nov. 8, 2004, after a long illness, at a Sharon, Conn. hospital. She was born in Bancroft, July 20, 1923, the daughter of Nelson and Sylvia (Brawn) McCormack. Angeline was a member of the Grange and the Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, Ronald Deering and his wife, Carole, of Winthrop; a daughter, Amber Spinney and her husband, William, of Dover Plains, N.Y.; two brothers, Earl McCormack of Millinocket and Frank McCormack of Wytopitlock; a sister, Lois Harvey of Bancroft; three grandchildren, Tanya Spinney Shook, Troy Deering and Rondell Deering; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Walter, she was predeceased by a brother, Leroy McCormack. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at the Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, Danforth. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
