MADAWASKA – Anita M. Pelletier, 77, passed away peacefully Sept. 9, 2006, at her residence in Madawaska. She was born June 4, 1929, in Frenchville, the daughter of Claude and Laura (Vaillancourt) Ouellette. After retiring from Evergreen Trading Co., she spent all her summers at her beautiful camp at Green Point on Long Lake with her husband. Anita is survived by her beloved sister, Rita Belanger and her husband, Elroy, of Madawaska; a special stepbrother, Gerald Cyr of Madawaska; five sisters-in-law, Raymonde Hachey of Madawaska, Gaetane Fife of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Micheline Gauvin and her husband, Louie, of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Rita Mac-Kenzie of Hingham, Mass., and Rose Marie Cypher of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Patrick Pelletier and his wife, Dolores and Gabriel Pelletier, all of Edmundston, New Brunswick. She will be sadly missed by her loving dog, Chico. Anita was predeceased by her husband, Yvon Pelletier November 2000. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and relatives may call at Daigle Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. Tuesday until time of service. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.
