BANGOR – Ann Elizabeth Knight, 67, died peacefully at her home in Bangor, Jan. 16, 2004. She was born, Sept. 11, 1936, in Long Branch, N.J., to William and Anna (Burns) Knight. She attended St. Mary’s Academy and Star of the Sea Academy in Long Branch, N.J. She retired as an administrative assistant at IBM in 1988, and moved to Maine in August of 1992. While in Maine she did volunteer work at Home Industries in Orland, and the Acadia Hospital library in Bangor. She is survived by her daughter, Mindele Levine Filsinger; two granddaughters, Constance and Eve Rizzo, all of Florida; a sister, Dorothy deFabray of Long Branch, N.J; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Valerie Heal of Guilford, Lori and Danny Ireland, and Bret McBreairty, all of Hampden.
