FRENCHVILLE – Annette Chasse Roy, 86, died May 26, 2006, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home. She was born March 8, 1920, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Theophile and Marie (Tardif) Chasse. Annette was a communicant of St. Luce Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for several years. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She was employed as a certified nurse’s aid at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Frenchville for 25 years. Annette enjoyed knitting and sewing, and had a passion for gardening. She most especially liked spending time with her family. Annette was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Louis in 1999. She is survived by two sons, Robert and his wife, Alice of Caribou, Roger and his wife, Mona, of Presque Isle; five daughters, Bern and her husband, George Albert, of Frenchville, Sister Jeannette Roy of Mont Joli, Quebec, Rita Roy of Caribou, Anita and her husband, Greg Dickinson, of Caribou, and Rose and her husband, Edgar Morin, of St. David; nine grandchildren, Cindy Albert, Tony and Kristen Roy, Kendall and Rachelle Roy, Heidi and Chris Miller, Amy Roy, Jessica Dow and her fianc?, Stephen Pickard, Ryan Dow, Corey Morin and Brad Morin; four great-grandsons, Seth, Brady, Noah and Jonah; and one sister, Lucille Michaud of St. Agatha. Friends and relatives may call 6:30-9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday until time of services at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luce Catholic Church in Frenchville. Internment will be in St. Luce Cemetery.
