PRESQUE ISLE – Annette S. (Chapman) Craddock, 60, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at the Mars Hill Nursing Home. She was born April 2, 1945, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Lee and Beryl (Giggey) Chapman. She attended schools in Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle. She enjoyed knitting, macram?, and gardening. Annette loved spending time at her Squa Pan camp in her chair reading a good book. Family and friends were a priority in her life and she enjoyed making a big meal with family and friends. She worked many years at the Masonic Home and Hospital in Wallingford, Conn., before returning home to Maine in 1988. The past 15 years she has been working for TESCO at the Aroostook Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Craddock of Hagerstown, Md.; by her siblings, Brenda Chapman and her friends, Richard La Pointe, Sam Chapman, all of Presque Isle; William Young and his wife, Eva, of Virginia, Larry Young and his wife, Terry, Craig Young, all of Maine, June and Eric Hays of Terryville, Conn., John and Cheryl Chapman of Bidderford; three aunts, Muriel and her husband, Reginald Burleigh, of Fort Fairfield, Betty Janson and Mona Berrovoets of Delanco, N.J.; nieces, Tammy Breeden and husband, Terry, Becky White, all of Hagerstown, Md., Jayne White of Melbourne, Fla.; nephews, Ryan Young of Maine, Joshua and Dennis Young of Virginia; several other cousins, nephews and nieces. Annette “Mickie” will be especially missed by her special friend and companion Lawrence Churchill, and also Marie Ouellette and the other members of the housekeeping team at TAMC. If five words could sum up Annette’s life they would be: “She did it her way!” At her request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Morency, celebrant. A reception will be held at the K of C Hall.
