EAST MILLINOCKET – Annie Blanche Goddard, 91, wife of the late Donald “Mike” Goddard, died Aug. 15, 2006, at a Millinocket healthcare facility. She was born Nov. 9, 1914, in Windsor, New Brunswick, the daughter of Andre and Odelie (Beaulieu) Rioux. Blanche worked at the Great Northern Paper Co. during World War II. She and her husband loved to go for long rides on the Grindstone Road, Medway. She loved the Red Sox. She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. In addition to her husband, Donald “Mike” Goddard, who passed away in 1982, she was predeceased by her parents, two children, Patti and Michael Goddard; and her brothers, Edward, Fleurien and Felix. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sharon Goddard of East Millinocket; two granddaughters, Danielle and her husband, Jeremy Cole and their two children, Taylor and Emily, of East Millinocket and April and Ben Mann and their son, Tanner, of Redmond, Ore.; a sister, Eva Page of Lincoln; a sister-in-law, Louise Cote of East Millinocket; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at East Millinocket Cemetery.
