BROWNVILLE JCT. – Annie E. Chase, 86, wife of the late Guilford Chase, died Oct. 30, 2004, in Bangor. She was born April 30, 1918, in Brownville Jct., the daughter of John and Esther (Catchpole) Priestman. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, the Altar Guild, and the W.A. Women’s Auxiliary. She is survived by a son, Chester H. Chase and his wife, Susanne, of Patten; a daughter, Katherine E. Whitney and her husband, Duane, of Bangor; a brother, John Priestman and his wife, Rachel, of Scituate, Mass.; two sisters, Elsie Washburn of Stow, Mass., and Hilda Turtlott of LaGrange; two sisters-in-law, Dawn Priestman of Brownville, Dorris Chase, of Brownville Jct.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Whitney and husband, Gyaki Bonsu-Anne, and Deborah Whitney and husband, Eric Edstam; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Dell; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Harden; and a sister, Mabel McLaughlin. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Brownville Jct., with the Rev. Nancy Moore officiating.
