INDIAN ISLAND – Annie E. Loring Paul, 83, died May 25, 2004, at an Orono healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 13, 1921, on Indian Island, the daughter of George Sr. and Hazel (Curtis) Loring. She was a member of St. Anne’s Parish of Indian Island. She is survived by sons, Royce Albert and wife, Dawn, of Knoxville, Tenn., Herbert Albert and wife, Judy, of Grier, S.C., John Albert and wife, Virginia, of Winchester, Ky.; daughters, Joyce Howe and husband, Tom, of Argyle Township, Joan Rodgers and husband, Mark, of Milford; a very special daughter, Amy E. Albert of Indian Island; a stepdaughter, Maxine Judson of Indian Island; brothers, Everett Loring of Stillwater, Frank Loring Sr. and wife, Mary, of Indian Island; sister, Aleta Levesque, of Fitchburg, Mass.; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Raymond Paul of Indian Island, in 1993. Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at Brookings-Smith, Old Town Chapel, 205 Main St., Old Town. Funeral services will be graveside 10 a.m. Friday, May 28, at Sandy Beach Cemetery, Indian Island, with the Rev. Paul Kerns officiating. The family of Annie E. Paul would like to give a special appreciation to the charge nurse Katherine LePari and CNA Cheryl White for the care and consideration and superb professionalism they exhibited while caring for our mother at Orono Commons.
