BAILEYVILLE – Annie Frances Dow passed away Jan. 27, 2005, at her home after a brief illness. She was under the loving care of her daughter, Debra Kneeland and family. She was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of John and Annie Lowe She enjoyed her family, flower gardens and reading. Frances was an active member at the Woodland Public Library and the People’s United Methodist Church. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Russell J. Dow in 1997. She is survived by her son, John R. Dow and wife, April of Baileyville; daughters, Barbara and husband, Robert Bowker of Bangor, Debra and husband, Thomas Kneeland of South Princeton; one sister, Florence Chisholm of Waterbury, Vt.; six grandchildren, Angela Mahoney, Laurie Dow, Bronson Kneeland, Ashlee (Kneeland) Arsenault and her husband, James, Christopher Bowker, Jay D. Bowker and his wife, Lynn; five great-grandchildren, Caleb, Tyler and Tully Mahoney; Jaycob and Katelynn Bowker. A special thanks to nephews and nieces, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Also to her special friends, Beth Libby of Hollis Center, Gladys Townsend, and Beverly Ober of Baileyville. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the care given by Doctor Wilkenson and Pastor Hammond. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Woodland Public Library and the United People’s Methodist Church, Baileyville, Me.
