ROCKLAND – James Albert Dowling, 76, husband of the late Dorothy Curtis Dowling, died peacefully, Jan. 27, 2005, with his daughter, Mary; and son, Jamie, at his side. Visiting hours will be held 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 150 Broadway, Rockland. Interment will be in the spring.
