ISLESBORO – Ansley Marie Bell, 6 years old, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 25, 2007, on Islesboro. She was born March 13, 2001, in Belfast, the daughter of Kimberly Grindle and Robert J. Bell Jr. Ansley enjoyed canoeing, watching ducks, beavers and generally loved all animals. She was enthusiastic about exploring nature, playing sports, dancing and singing. Ansley was her happiest when at the beach swimming and exploring, canoeing on the Meadow Pond and exploring at Hutchins Island. She was in the kindergarten class at Islesboro Central School. She was predeceased by her paternal and maternal great-grandparents. Those who survive Ansley are her mother, Kimberly Grindle and her partner, Jay Zlotkowski; twin siblings, Anna and Blake Zlotkowski; her father, Robert Bell Jr.; grandparents, Fern “MiMi” Dodge and Larry Stutz, Bryan Grindle, Cindy and Robert Bell Sr., and Joanne and Raymond Quimby; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as a special aunt and uncle, Toni and Len; many special friends, her classmates, and Lisa, Greg and Izze Beck. She will be greatly missed by all of her beloved pets. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 1, at Greenwood Cemetery, Islesboro. A celebration of Ansley’s life will be held immediately after at the GH Kinnicutt Center.
