RUTLAND, Vt. – Anthony A. Rotta, 56, died May 2, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born May 24, 1950, in Vermont, the son of he late Lawrence and Rose Mary Rotta. Tony worked for Stinson’s Canning Factory for a number of years and was recently with Clyde Webber, Surry. He is survived by a stepson, Chris Rotta and wife, Michela, of Hancock; stepfather, Irving Cowperthwaite and wife, Dianne, of Winter Harbor; a brother, Lawrence and wife, Sheila, of Glenburn; a sister, Sheila Rotta of Ellsworth; nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his good friends, Peter Colson, Paul Fox, Pat Knowles and Gail Smith. A graveside committal service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, in the family lot at Prospect Harbor. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to Larry Sheila Rotta, 89 McCarthy Road, Glenburn, ME 04401.
