BUCKSPORT – Anthony P. Provost, 74, died Feb. 13, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 24, 1932, in Bangor, son of Anthony G. and Marie J. (LaBresque) Provost. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Marion P. (Bamber) Provost of Bucksport; his three children, Richard Provost of Georgia, Michael Provost of Prospect, and Sherree Dalton and her husband, Dewayne, of Bucksport; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six step-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Bushey of Bangor, Janice Rice and her husband, Bob, of Bangor; and his beloved feline friend, Sassy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Provost. A memorial gathering will be held 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at The View Restaurant, Main Street, Bucksport.
