STAFFORD, Va. – Anthony Wayne Plummer, 55, of Stafford died at his residence Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005. Tony joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from Bangor High School. He retired as a chief personnelman after 22 years of service. He then worked as a devoted employee for Fairfax County Public Schools Transportation services for 15 years. Tony loved bowling, playing his guitar and watching football as a loyal Redskins fan. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen Plummer; and his brother, Albie Plummer. He is survived by his wife, Maria Plummer of Stafford; his daughters, Mollie (and Tarue) Coleman of Woodbridge and Julie-Ann Plummer of Woodbridge; his grandchildren, Sakira and Kristina Coleman of Woodbridge and Brandon Scott of Woodbridge; his sister, Carol (and Gary) Boulier of Mequon, Wis.; his brothers, Leo Plummer of San Diego, Calif., Joseph (and Janie) Plummer of Tampa, Fla., Phillip (and Carol) Plummer of East Corinth and Donald (and Elizabeth) Plummer of Canton, Ga.; seven special cousins and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, Va., where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
