BANGOR – Marion Chaplin Ramoska, of 36 Crestmont Rd., Bangor and formerly of Westbrook died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 11, 1919, in Westbrook, daughter of Albert A. and Ora Littlefield Chaplin. She graduated from Westbrook High School and Westbrook Junior College. During World War II she served in the U.S. Navy. She was employed as a secretary by Union Mutual Insurance Company. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Good of Cape Neddick and Gail Gordon and her husband, Don, of Bangor; two grandchildren, Nathan and Sarah Gordon of Bangor; and a sister, Bette Chaplin of Westbrook; a niece and nephew, Sally and Richard Chaplin, both of Westbrook. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Ramoska; a brother, Mortimer Chaplin; and a sister, Nedra Baker. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at the Chase Funeral Home, 350 Main St., Westbrook, where a funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to American Heart Association, 343 Gorham Rd., South Portland, ME 04106.
