BRADLEY – Antoinette “Nanette” D. Richard, 77, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 16, 1927, in Bradley, daughter of the late Joseph and Delena (Guay) Pelletier. Nanette was very proud of her grandchildren and their many accomplishments. She was an excellent seamstress, avid gardener, loved cooking for herself and many others, especially her elderly neighbors. She also enjoyed playing her organ. Nanette was a lifelong communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Bradley, past member of St. Ann’s Sodality, choir, the Old Town and Orono Senior Citizens and was a member of the Sunshine Girls. She worked in local shoe factories most of her life. She is survived and will be sadly missed by a son, Allen Richard and his wife, Hazel Lee, of Arundel; two grandchildren, Courtney Lee and Alanna Joelle Richard; three sisters, Marion Pelletier of Old Town, Imelda Newkam of Carlisle, Pa., Ruth Shorette and her husband, Joel, of Bradley; brother, Herbert Pelletier and his wife, Gloria, of Milford; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph “Spike” Richard. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 12 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Ann’s Church in Bradley, with the Rev. Paul Kerns celebrant. Committal will be held following the Mass at St Joseph Cemetery in Old Town. Family and friends are invited back to St. Ann’s Parish Hall for a luncheon and continued fellowship.
