DEDHAM – Beverly M. Lambert, 69, dearly loved wife of the late David F. Lambert, died Aug. 15, 2005 at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born March 22, 1936 in Flint, Mich., the daughter of Richard Berger and Clarabell (Rogers) Berger Williams. After graduating from high school in Flint, Mich., she obtained a nursing degree and worked for more than 20 years at Bangor City Hospital. She was a dedicated homemaker and later returned to work as a corrections officer for Penobscot County. She will be fondly remembered for the love and support she generously gave to all that crossed paths with her. Beverly will be sorrowfully missed by her six surviving children, Geraldine “Jill” Lambert and her companion, Joseph Vargas and Bert Lambert, all of Dedham, Torrie Tardiff and her husband, Frank, of Holden, Holly Noddin and her husband, Douglas, of Dedham, Timothy Holland and his wife, Darlene, and Thomas Holland and his wife, Trudy, of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren, Cassie Hutson, Nikole, Douglas, Martha and Anna`-Elizabeth Noddin, Richard, John, T.J. and Jacob Holland, and Mona Wentzell; one loving sister, Barbara Fortune and her companion, Victor Downs, of Gray; her best friend, Jane Meade of Brewer, who comforted and supported her, and tenderly guided her family through this very, very difficult time; many special brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was predeceased by two wonderful sons, David “Cricket” Lambert and Ricky Lambert; and a special aunt, Mae Merry. In addition to Beverly’s grandchildren she had many area children of all ages she adored, who embraced her as their “Mimi” grandmother. The family would like to thank the caring staff of St. Joseph Hospital and New Hope Hospice for their dedication and care giving. Services will be private.
