CARIBOU – Antoinette I. Caron, 84, wife of the late Walter Frank Caron, died Sept. 2, 2004, at Caribou, following an extended illness. She was born at Lewiston, March 30, 1920, the daughter of George and Rosanna (Morin) Jalbert.Antoinette was raised and schooled in the Marcotte Home in Lewiston. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is survived by six sons and four daughters-in-law, Norman Caron of Caribou; Frank and Carol Caron and Ernest and Lori Caron all of Presque Isle; Lionel and Janet Caron of North East, Pa.; James P. Caron of Orlando, Fla., and Albert and Chong Caron of Seoul, Korea; three daughters and sons-in-law Shirley and Eddie Bishop and Linda and Michael Lahey all of Caribou and Dolly and James LaRocque of Bourbonnais, Ill.; three brothers, Marcel Jalbert of Vernon, Vt.; George Jalbert and Rosaire Jalbert both of Lewiston; three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Cecile) Greenier of Waterville, Mrs. Robert (Helena) LeBrun of Lewiston, and Mrs. John (Theresa) Plante of Waterville and Naples, Fla.; 25 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Antoinette was predeceased by three brothers, Emile, Dominique and Robert Jalbert and a sister Eratiane “Rose” Jalbert. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish to contribute in memory of Antoinette may do so through Hospice of Aroostook, P.O.
