YORK HARBOR – Antoinette M. “Toni” (Cote) DeLise, of 50 Boban St., died Tuesday, Oct. 14, at York Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Presque Isle, the daughter of Antoine and Anne (Levesque) Cote and graduated with honors from Presque Isle High School in 1950. She had formerly lived in Concord, Mass., and Wallingford, Conn., before moving to York five years ago. Mrs. DeLise was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Christopher-by-the-Sea Church of York. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, arts and crafts and cooking. She loved to travel with her husband and traveled throughout Europe, Canada, Bermuda, to Disney World and to Chicago to visit their son. She was predeceased by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Anthony A. DeLise of York Harbor; one daughter, Elizabeth D. Fickett and her husband, David C. of Winter Harbor; two sons, David Anthony DeLise and his wife, Darcy, of York and Christopher J. DeLise and his fianc‚e, Michelle Bercutt, of Chicago; four grandchildren, Caroline, Samuel and Israel Fickett and Wyatt David DeLise; one brother, Percy Cote of Presque Isle; and two sisters, Cecilia Smart of Presque Isle and Jeanette Brown of Wallingford, Conn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, in St. Christopher Church, York Street, York. There will be no visiting hours.
