HARMONY – Ardane H. Gourley, 65, died unexpectedly May 24, 2007, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born April 23, 1942, in Sangerville, son of Hugh and Clara (Trafton) Gourley. He served in the U.S. Army and spent the majority of his life working in the woods. He loved hunting and fishing. Also, he loved to ride up to Kingsbury and look at the places where the Gourley’s used to live. He is survived by his two sons, Thomas and his wife, Teresa Gourley, and Stacy Gourley; four grandchildren, Nathan and Chelsea Gourley, Brandon Gourley and Nicole Goulette, all of Harmony; three sisters, Florence Harrington of Sangerville, Charlotte Stewart and her husband, Glenwood, of Wellington and Mary Jane Gourley of Waterville; two brothers, Gary Gourley and his wife, Charlotte, of Athens and Terry Gourley and his wife, Patsy, of Cambridge; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Hugh and Clara Gourley; two brothers, Michael Gourley and Bernie Gourley. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at North Road Cemetery, Harmony, with Pastor Levi Pratt officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
