CHERRYFIELD – Arlene M. Bigelow, 78, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Dec. 19, 1926, in Jonesport, the daughter of George W. and Lovina B. (Wallace) Randall. Arlene was a fish packer and did seasonal work in the downeast area. She loved the elderly, and enjoyed working with them in nursing homes and with the Senior Companion Program. Arlene was a member of the Unionville Church of God, and attended the Downeast Christian Church in Marshville. She is survived by six children, Kendrick Randall and his wife, Judith, of Harrington, Zenith Cote of Bar Harbor, Sheldon Cote and his wife, Gwen, of Millinocket, Marlene Geneseo of Augusta, Belinda Smith and her husband, Larry, of Calais, and Kathy Bickford and her husband, William, of Harrington; two sisters, Violet Redimarker of Addison and Ramona Golding of Columbia; a sister-in-law, Bernice Randall of Jonesport; two very special grandsons, Troy Randall of Harrington and his fianc?e, Wendy Towers of Belgrade, and Todd Randall and his wife, Mollie, of Cherryfield; several grandchildren and great-grand-children; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Luland Cote; a brother, Arnold Randall; two sisters, Julia Smith and Marilyn Will. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Downeast Christian Church, Marshville Road, Harrington, with the Rev. Clive Meidahl, pastor, officiating.
