TURNER – Arline G. Willard, 89, a resident of 15 General Turner Hill Rd., Turner, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Russell Park Rehabilitation & Living Center in Lewiston. She was born June 6, 1916, in Leeds, the daughter of Arthur W. and Lottie (Bragg) Grant. She was a graduate of Leavitt Institute in Turner and Bliss Business College in Lewiston. In October 1936, she married Dwight B. Willard of Turner. Mr. Willard passed away in 1963. For many years she was a cook at the Turner Elementary School and a reporter for the town of Turner news in the Lewiston Sun-Journal. She also had worked at the Packard Drug Store in Auburn, the J.J. Newberry Company in Farmington, Farmington State Teacher’s College as a housemother, and for the Walter’s family of Cape Elizabeth as a cook and housekeeper. Arline was a member of the Rebeccas and the Turner Village Church. She is survived by a daughter, Pamelia Gage and her husband, Clifton, of Lakeland, Fla.; two sons, Keith B. Willard and his wife, Alayne, of Machias and Kenneth A. Willard and his wife, Suzanne, of Lemington; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harry and Robert Grant. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at Turner Village Church, Main Street, Turner.
