FRENCHVILLE – Normand Bourgoin, 86, died May 23, 2006, at a Fort Kent hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1919, in Frenchville, the son of Arthur and Mary (Guimond) Bourgoin. Normand spent his time at the Frenchville Regional Airport and occasionally flew with the pilot to different places in Maine. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and meeting his great-grandchild this past Christmas. He is survived by three sons, Robert and his friend, Carol, of Madawaska, Michael and his wife, Sherry, of Lee and Normand “Butch” Jr. of St. Agatha; four grandchildren, Keela Bourgoin, Becky Bourgoin, Kyra Bourgoin and Amy and her husband, Jason Noble; one great-grandchild, Cohen Nobel; and one sister, Priscella Daigle. He was predeceased by his wife, Rolande Dalpe. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 am. Friday until time of service at the Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Luce Catholic Church, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be in St. Luce Cemetery.
