DEXTER – Arnold Ira Mead went home to be with the Lord Aug. 3, 2004. He was born in Norwalk, Conn. He joins his parents Arnold Ira Mead and Mary Oravitz Mead in death. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Gary Mead and his children, Karl Mead, Kristel Moore, Eileen Belanger, Katryn Swiggett, Electra Blair and Jennifer Mills; six grandchildren, Kori, Taylor, Keagan and Makayla Mead and Catlyn and Thomas Mills. He is fondly remembered by the extended family of his mother-in-law, father-in-law; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at the First Free Baptist Church, 130 Spring St. in Dexter. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arnold’s memory may be made to the Dexter Community Food Closet, 130 Spring St., Dexter, ME 04930.
