LITTLETON – Arnold McIver, 76, died July 1, 2007, at his home. He was born Feb. 7, 1931, the son of Bernard and Annie (Hender-son) McIver. He was a veteran who served in the 101 Airborn Division of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Georgia (Jones) McIver of Littleton; one son, Michael and his wife, Suzanne McIver, of Portland; three grandchildren, Courtney, Eliza-beth and Andrew; brothers, Robert McIver of Houlton, Philip McIver of Florida and Gerald McIver of New Limerick; two sisters, Irene Bickford of Houlton and Marie McAfee of Littleton. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Cath-olic Church with Father Eddy Morin, celebrant. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
