EAST MILLINOCKET – Arthur E. Willey, 86, died March 16, 2007, in Flor-ida. He was born Nov. 14, 1920, in Hartland, the son of John and Gladys (Stuart) Willey. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from Great Northern Paper. He was a member of DAV and American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Pelletier) Willey of East Millinocket; four children, Betty Elizabeth Gudro of Cor-inna, Arthur Jr. and his wife, Julie, of Millinocket, Joseph Manzo of Massachusetts, and Julie and her husband, John Lizaneec, of York Beach; four grandchildren, Jenessa Willey, Jessica Manzo, Isabelle and Alexander Lizaneec; and one brother, Milton and his wife, Judy, of Florida. He was predeceased by a close son, Kevin; two sisters, two brothers, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Congregational Church, East Millinocket, with the Rev. Billie Farrington officiating. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
