OLD TOWN – Arthur Eugene Patterson, 73, died Dec. 21, 2005, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. He was born Nov. 30, 1932. Arthur enjoyed many years as a truck driver before his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends. Arthur was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Patterson in May 2005. He is survived by his four children, Tom, Carole, Missy and Kelly; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Cory, Veronica, Miranda, Sarah, Jacob, Joshua, Kenny and Colby; two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Evan. There will be a service held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the community room of the Riverhouse, 120 Main St., Old Town.
