HAMPDEN and HERMON – Arthur M. Patterson, 63, died Nov. 9, 2005, at his home in Hermon. He was born May 19, 1942, in Brewer, the son of Paul R. and Clarice (Wing) Patterson. Arthur attended Hampden schools and was a graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 1960. He served in the U.S. Army at West Point and in the Washington, D.C. area. Arthur was a longtime employee of Bangor Hydro-Electric Company until he retired with a disability in 1984. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane (Dunton) Patterson, of Brewer; his son, Stephen Patterson, of Smyrna, Tenn.; two granddaughters, the light of his life, Taylor “Tater” Patterson, of Lavergne, Tenn. and Colbi T. Wilkerson of Lavergne, Tenn.; his brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Judy Patterson of Whiting; his sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Roland Brown, of Winterport; and his angel sister, Rita Patterson, of Winterport; one niece, two nephews, two great-nephews, former daughter-in-law, Jeanne Wilkerson of Lavergne, Tenn.; and a special friend, Donald Crosby, of Bangor.
