FAIRFAX STATION, Va. -Arthur Raymond Ellingwood Jr., Capt. U.S. Navy retired, passed away Feb. 22, 2007, at Bethesda Naval Hopsital. He was the beloved husband of Luella K. Ellingwood; loving son of Arthur R. Ellingwood Sr.; and the late Mildred Ellingwood; devoted father of David A. Ellingwood and his wife, Laura; dear brother, of Ruth Casper and Jacqueline Lang; cherished grandfather of Raymond and Frank Ellingwood. Also surviving are a niece and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, Va. Funeral services with full military honors will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Fort Myer Chapel. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
