HOLLYWOOD, FLA. – Arveen “Dee” (Metcalf) Sayers died peacefully at a Hollywood, Fla. hospital, April 23, 2004, with loving friends at her side. She was born June 29, 1942, in East Millinocket, the daughter of Hazen and Nellie (Tupper) Metcalf who predeceased her. Arveen was loved by many in this world. She was always blessed by having people in her life who once met her, never forgot her. She was always able to make people laugh and will be remembered for her sense of humor no matter what life brought her way. Arveen will be greatly missed and is survived by two daughters, Lori Reynolds and her fiance, Al Holowich of Brewer, Jeri (Reynolds) and Roy Hill of Oak Harbor, Wash.; three grandchildren, Ashley, Roy and Felicia Hill; two brothers, Charles and Brenda Metcalf of Talmadge, and Wayne and Ginny Metcalf of North Dakota; one sister, Dianne (Metcalf) and Kenny Porter of Baring; three nephews; four nieces and their children; a special aunt, Frances Tupper; and cousin, Evelyn Manship of Baring. A service will be held in Hollywood, Fla. with her friends and daughter, Lori and a second service will be held in the Princeton area with her family and friends in Maine at a later date to be announced.
