PRESQUE ISLE – Audrey A. Goulden, 89, passed away July 11, 2004, after a short illness at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born on July 31, 1914, at Presque Isle, the daughter of Bernard W. and Iva A. (Bean) Kenney. She was a member of the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church in Presque Isle, and the Dorcus Circle. She was a member of the Castle Hill Grange. She is survived by four brothers, Harold Kenney, Murray Kenney, Beryl Kenney all of Presque Isle, Lyle Kenney of Mapleton; three sisters, Ruth Chaisson of Yarmouth, Christine McPherson of Mapleton, and Althea Sweeney of Portland; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Theodore Goulden, in 1976; three sisters, Opal Bagley, Mildred Lint and Rowena Gove. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Blackstone officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
