HERMON – Audrey May Doughty, 83, died April 12, 2007, at a Brewer health care facility after a long illness. Born May 4, 1923, in Bangor, she was the daughter of Alexander H. “Sandy” and Mae (Lyons) Gallant. Audrey loved her family and her loyal dog, Muppet. She loved birds and animals of all kinds, fishing and camping. Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Francis “Sonny” Doughty of Hermon; son, Bryan Doughty and his wife, Sheila, of Kenduskeag; daughter, Lori Partridge and Mark Nadeau of Carmel; four grandsons, William Tracy of Carmel, Shawn Tracy and Katie Hunter or Levant and Matthew and Christopher Doughty of Kenduskeag; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Keyton Tracy of Levant, and Courtney Doughty of Kenduskeag; extended family, Marcus Nadeau of Belfast, Tanelae Toothaker and her boyfriend, Chris and their two children, Isabelle and Cole, all of Winterport; brother, Alexander “Alley” Gallant and wife, Hazel, of Belfast; one special sister-in-law, Linda Tucker of Hermon; a very special niece, Barbara Thibedeau and her husband, Joe, of Greenbush; true friend, Donna Corson of Levant; nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by many brothers, sisters; and recently predeceased by Cathy Doughty, Christopher’s wife. Friends are invited to visit noon-2 and family 2-4 p.m. Friday, April 20, at her home, 860 Coldbrook Road, Hermon.
