LIMESTONE – Augustine Morin, 90, died May 26, 2004, at his Limestone residence, following a brief illness. He was born at St. Agatha, June 6, 1913, the son of Denis and Delena (Michaud) Morin. He was educated in the St. Agatha school system. Augustine was employed at Loring Air Force Base as a carpenter for four years. He was also employed in the maintenance departments for Lane Construction and for 12 years at Potato Service. He was also involved in the construction of the Great Northern Paper Co. in Millinocket. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church. Auguste was a hardworking, honest, friendly, loving and helpful husband, father and friend. He married Eva Marie (Cyr) Morin on Nov. 12, 1935. Surviving in addition to his wife of Limestone are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Elmer Morin of Limestone, Robert and Patricia Morin, of Fredericksburg, Va. and Gilbert Morin of Bangor; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannette and Richard Martin, of Limestone and Antoinette and Patrick Hennigan, of Stafford, Va.; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Donat and Paul; and three sisters, Laura, Yvonne and Elsie. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004, from the St. Louis Catholic Church, with the Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in the St. Louis Cemetery, Limestone.
