BANGOR – Barbara E. Maselli, 60, died Dec. 1, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 7, 1944 in New York, N.Y., the daughter of Paul and Virginia (Thomas) Porrini. Barbara loved family more than anything in life. She was a selfless and loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. No one knew this better than her husband, Bobby Maselli, who shared 45 years with her. If you were lucky enough to know her, she was the best friend you could have. She loved people and enjoyed meeting so many of them when she worked as a hairdresser and waitress. The world was a better place because she was here. Words cannot express how much her family and friends will miss her. Barbara is survived by her father, Paul D. Porrini; husband, Robert B. Maselli; sons Robert B. Maselli Jr. and his wife, Wendy, Mark L. Maselli and Mario P. Maselli; daughters, Lisa L. Treglia and her husband, John, and Maria E. Maselli; brothers, Richard Porrini, Paul Porrini Jr., and David Porrini; sister Louise P. Budelman and her husband, Thomas; grandchildren Nichole, Mario, Anthony, Isabella, and Angelina. She was predeceased by her mother, Virginia Porrini. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, December 4 and 5, 2004, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor, with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor, celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
