BARBARA F. MCNAMARA COLUMBIA, Md. – Barbara F. McNamara, 88, left this life on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. McNamara who was the past International President of the International Brotherhood of Fireman & Oiler’s Union. She was the loving mother to Judith L. Henry, of Lewes, Del., Nancy E. Butler of Ellicott City, Md., Robert S. Salle of Alexandria, Va., John Daniel McNamara of Great Falls, Va., Lawrence Scott McNamara of Miami Beach, Fla.; loving sister to Shirlie Mackin of Millinocket; loving nana to Jane Julian, Jill Roberts, Scott Henry, Ashley McNamara, Jill Butler, Julie Butler; and loving Nana Mac to Dustin, Erin, Kevin Varnell and Christian Henry. The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at the Witze Funeral Homes, Inc., of Columbia, 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, Md., where evening funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
