JANET M. HEWES BREWER – Janet M. Hewes, 69, fell asleep Sept. 29, 2003, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Brewer, the daughter of Ralph and Regina (Russell) Inman. Janet’s smile and laughter was intoxicating, and she had no greater joy than her family and loved all without any boundaries. She loved God with all of her heart, soul, and strength and now is laid up for her a crown of life, which she will receive at the return of her Lord, Christ Jesus. She is survived by four sons, Scott Blythe of Ohio, Walter Wain III of Old Town, Todd Hewes of Verona, Brent Hewes of Levant; four daughters, Candi Morin of Greenfield, Wanda Dellairo of Eddington, Robin Wain of Holden, Kimberlee Hewes of Brewer; one sister, Diane Roy of Bradley; 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two special cousins, Gloria Cyr, Jimmy LaGuff, both of Bangor; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and many other dear friends. A service of remembrance will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with Michael Cox officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Reception Rooms, 55 South Main St., Brewer, following the service.
