EASTPORT – Barbara June Dudley, 79, died Aug. 27, 2006, at the home of her sister in Pembroke. She was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Lubec, a daughter of Byron and Dorothy Tinker Carter. She had lived for 35 years in Florida before returning to Eastport to be with her daughter. She had been employed at New Industrial Techniques Co. in Florida for 15 years. Mrs. Dudley enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting doilies. She is survived by daughter, Patricia Cook and husband, Jon, of Eastport; two sons, Harold Dudley and wife, Lois, of Charlotte and Richard Dudley and wife, Betty, of Sanford; brothers, Chester Carter Sr. and wife, Carolyn, of Edmunds, Byron Carter Jr. of Old Town, Robert Carter and wife, Martha, of New Hampshire; sister, Mary Haynes of Pembroke; grandchildren, Susan Randall and Kirk Maenhout of Baring, Vicki Stanhope and husband, Butch, of Eastport, Jesse Dudley of California, Shawn DeWolf and wife, Lynn, of North Berwick and Jason Dudley and wife, Jen, of Sanford; and her great-grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Jake, Jaysie, Nathan, Lauren Eryn and Emma. Graveside services will be held noon Sunday, Sept. 3, at the Clarkside Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements under the direction of Mays Funeral Home-Flagg Chapel, Eastport.
