FORT KENT – Beatrice A. Levesque, 93, died Oct. 8, 2004, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born May 11, 1911, in Concord, N.H., the daughter of Arthur and Martha (Cote) Lavallee. Beatrice lived her life with great love as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She excelled in homemaking, cooking, and cake-decorating skills. She was an avid bridge player. Beatrice was a faithful communicant of St. Louis Parish and lived her faith in her dedication to her family and kindness to all. She is survived by her six children, daughters, Claudette Levesque of Fort Kent, Louise Levesque of Ellsworth, Norma and her husband, William Breton, of Surry, Paulette Levesque of Fort Kent; two sons, Lionel of Waitsfield, Vt., and Michel of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Mitchell Levesque, Roxanne Desjardins, Russell Levesque, and Amy Roy; five great-grandchildren, Michella, Abraham, Sadie, Emma Desjardins, Leo Levesque; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to both her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Levesque in 1977; her sister, Gertrude Knapp; and two brothers, Russell and Maurice Lavalle. Friends may call 9 a.m. until time of service Monday, at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery.
