OLD TOWN – Bella E. Stephens, 77, died March 3, 2007, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Oct. 13, 1929, in Old Town, the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Thibodeau) Cote. She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Mary and Harry Dunton of Carmel; her son and his wife, Leonard Stephens Jr. and Anita of Alton; three brothers, Camille Cote and his wife, Lorna, of Lewes, Del., George Cote and his wife, Joan, of Plainville, Conn., and Paul Cote Sr. of Old Town; grandchildren, Shawn and Corey; stepgrandchildren, Brett, Kirk, Annjeanette and Dustin; special friends, Sandra and Clyde Storeman of Carmel; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Martha, Tereasa, Cecille, Annie and Alice; and brothers, Ronald and Arthur. Private graveside services for the family will be held this spring. The family thanks the staff at Ross Manor, Engel Place and the long term care wings.
