ST. DAVID – Bella Iwanicki, 67, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 3, 2007, at her residence on Lavertu Road. She was born July 26, 1939, in St. David, the daughter of Josephel and Aldea (Lavertu) Cote. Bella is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John Iwanicki of St. David; one son, John Iwanicki Jr. and his wife, Maureen, of New Jersey; one daughter, Maureen and her husband, Steve Langevin, also of New Jersey; four sisters, Bernadette Ouellette and her husband, Richard, of Madawaska, Juliette Kucia and her husband, Alex, of Connecticut, Lorraine Talbot of Madawaska, and Omerine Cote and her husband, Harold, of St. Jacques, New Brunswick; three brothers, Reginald Cote of California, Lionel Cote and his wife, Lucille, of Connecticut, and Gilman Cote and his wife, Nicole, of St. David; three special grandchildren, Dawn Weatherspoon, Amanda Iwanicki, and John Iwanicki Jr.; three beloved great-grand-children, Maykayla, Melanie, and Mariah; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the spring at the parish cemetery.
