BANGOR – Belva G. Morin, 78, of Pushaw Road, Glenburn passed away Sept. 19, 2004. She was born in Bangor, Oct. 17, 1925, the daughter of John and Etta Archer. She graduated from Bangor High school. April 17, 1945, she married Joseph Morin Sr. and lived and worked on the family’s dairy farm for many years. To celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, they spent two weeks in Hawaii, with other family members and later enjoyed a cruise to the Virgin Islands. Belva loved doing crossword puzzles, reading romance novels, crocheting, sunbathing and James Bond movies. She spent many weekends going to yard sales. One of her favorite times was a bus trip with her best friend. Also, if you wanted a good conversation about politics, she was the one! She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, and caregiver to her family and enjoyed the company of her family, several close friends and neighbors. She is survived by her husband for more than 59 years, Joseph Morin Sr., of Glenburn; one daughter, Betty Lou Trufant and her husband, Ronald, of Windham; one son, Joseph Morin Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Milford; one granddaughter, Darcelle A. Jacobs; and her son, Belva’s great-grandson, Jonathon T. Jacobs III of Windham; one grandson, Christopher Morin, of Glenburn; and nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours or services. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
