BRADLEY – Bernice “Bunny” A. Brooks, 94, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at her home. She was born July 10, 1913, in Greenbush, the daughter of John E. and Ezzie W. (Adams) Severance. Bunny worked at Moose River, Old Town Shoe and Old Town Pie Plate. She was a longtime member and faithful communicant of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and bingo as well as crocheting and knitting mittens. She is survived and will be sadly missed by a daughter, Irene “Betty” Brooks; “considered son,” Randy Steele and his wife, Kris; “considered son,” Kevin Gallant and his wife, Jenny; several nieces, nephews and many special friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albert; a sister and three brothers. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley, with the Rev. Thomas Farley, celebrant. Committal will be held after the Mass at Evergreen Cemetery, Bradley. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments after the burial at St. Ann’s Parish Hall.
