TERRYVILLE, Conn. – Mrs. Bertile (Ouellette) Walker, 82, formerly of St. Francis, died Sunday morning, Oct. 7, 2007, at Waterbury Hospital, Connecticut. Mrs. Walker was born Feb. 19, 1925, in St. Francis, daughter of the late Jerry and Odile (Morin) Ouellette. Raised in St. Francis, she attended local schools and had been employed at Zayre department store in Presque Isle, for 25 years. She is survived by four sons, James Walker of Terryville, Conn., Dennis Walker of Vermont, David Walker of Watertown, Conn., and Larry Walker of Bristol, Conn.; one daughter, Marie Carusillo of Waterbury, Conn.; one brother, Ervin Ouellette of St. Francis; three sisters, Dorilla Ouellette and Monica Jandereau, both of St. Francis and Joann Keaton of Caribou; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Norman, Rudolph and Camille Ouellette; and one sister, Clara Picard. Funeral services will be held 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston, Conn., with a Mass 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be at West Cemetery, Plymouth, Conn.
