MADAWASKA – Bertrand Sirois, 81, passed away June 15, 2008, at an Edmundston, New Brunswick, hospital. He was born Oct. 10, 1926, in Frenchville, the son of Charles and Olive (Sirois) Sirois. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Claire (Levesque) Sirois of Frenchville; three sons, Jean Paul Sirois and his wife, Catherine, of Norton, Mass., Leo James Sirois of Fairfield and Carl Sirois and his wife, Michelle, of Frenchville; two daughters, Joan Albert and her husband, Roger, of Madawaska and Charlene Sirois of Frenchville; six brothers, Valere and Charles Sirois, both of Madawaska, Robert and Claude Sirois, both of Frenchville, Hermel Sirois of St. Agatha and Louis Sirois of Richmond; two sisters, Therese Signorille of Stamford, Conn., and Sr. Corinne Sirois of Biddeford; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Lucien and Conrad Sirois. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wed-nesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
