BAILEYVILLE – Betty “Bet” Annette Corbett, 42, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006. Bet was born June 6, 1964, in Calais, daughter of Lloyd and Gloria (Doten) Corbett. She enjoyed camping, boating, the outdoors, animals and helping the elderly. Bet was predeceased by her son, Gordie Corbett; an uncle, Paul Corbett Sr.; a cousin, Paul Corbett Jr.; grandparents, Warren and Madeline Doten; and her grandfather, Grampie Carroll Corbett. Surviving are her parents, Lloyd and Gloria Corbett of Baileyville; her grandmother, Nanie Corbett; a special friend, John Murray; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her feline companion, Daisy Mae. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Woodland Cemetery, Baileyville, with Randy Clark officiating. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
