FORT FAIRFIELD – Mark A. Day, 45, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at a Mars Hill health care facility. He was born May 25, 1961, in Presque Isle, the son of Preston Day Sr. and Judith (Dodge) Day. Mark grew up in Easton, graduated from Easton High School, and also attended Bethany Bible College, Sussex, New Brunswick. Mark loved to play golf, but his favorite times were with his family, especially during times when he could cook for everybody. He was a member of the Easton Wesleyan Church. Mark will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Vickie (Harvey) Day of Fort Fairfield; a daughter, Elizabeth Day of Fort Fairfield; siblings, Preston Day Jr. and his wife, Kate, of Orrington, Peggy Culberson and special companion, Justin Brown, of Holden, Tracey Clark and her husband, Dan, of Monticello, Gregory Day and his wife, Sonja, of Mars Hill; his father-in-law, August Harvey and his wife, Jackie, of Fort Fairfield; brother-in-law, Sam Harvey and his wife, Linda, of Limestone; brother-in-law, Brad Harvey of Fort Fairfield; a special aunt and uncle, Laurie and Bill Kemp of Fort Fairfield; seven nephews, Jacob, Jared, Jeff, Alex, Jason, Cody and Bill; and six nieces, Tammy, Kayla, Kennedy, Toni, Logan and Catrina, In addition to his father, Mark was predeceased by a niece, Taylor Day. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Matthew Maxwell officiating. Friends may call noon until time of service. There will be a private interment at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield.
