GLENBURN – Betty “Elizabeth” (Currier) Robinson, 83, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born July 21, 1924, in Bangor, the daughter of Joseph and Daisy B. (Smith) Currier. Betty was a member of Messiah Baptist Church, Bangor. She enjoyed playing bingo, going for rides and out to eat, especially if it were an ice cream bar. Betty loved family gatherings and appreciated and enjoyed art. She is survived by a son, Dana R. Robinson and his wife, Nora, of Bucksport; daughter, Carolyn A. Nutter and her husband, Marvin, of Bangor; son, Gary D. Robinson and his wife, Kathy, of Monson; daughter, Gale C. Tinker and her husband, Gordon, of Bangor; son, Timothy M. Robinson and his wife, Sandy, of Garland; son, Daniel M. Robinson of Bangor; daughter, Angela M. Burrill and her husband, Earl, of Glenburn; stepdaughter, Claudia Brown; grandchildren, Kavin, Tracy, Erik, Cindi, Johnny, Katie, Buster, Casey, Jason, Stacey, Kristen, Shannon, Kayla, Magen, Sara and James; stepgrandchildren, Rose, Angie, Dennis, Michelle, Michael, Jaime, Ashley, Zachary, “Little Erik”, Michala, Joshua and Pammy; many great-step-grandchildren and many church friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, George R. Robinson; her papa and mama; daughter, Delores Robinson; grandson, Christopher Nutter; and friend, Frank Jordan. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Herman C. Frankland, pastor of Messiah Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bangor, immediately after the service. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at 530 Hudson Road, Glenburn, after the burial.
