BAR HARBOR – Betty Gray Parsons, 75, died May 30, 2007, at Mount Desert Island Hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1932, in Northeast Harbor, the daughter of Everett and Inez (Dickey) Gray. Betty worked many years in Bar Harbor. She was employed at Mort Sachman clothing store and later worked at Sherman Book store for more than 20 years. She attended Northeast Harbor schools. Betty is survived by two sons, Everett Parsons and his companion, Joanne Munce, and Jerry Parsons, all of Bar Harbor; one daughter, Janice and her husband, Gordon Goodwin, of Bar Harbor; one sister, Mary Farley of Edgartown, Mass.; and one granddaughter, Lisa Gorczyca of Bar Harbor. She was predeceased by a son, Bruce Parsons; and a brother, Gordon Gray. Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
